These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the QuizLok mobile application ("App") operated by QuizLok LLC ("we", "our", or "us"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.
QuizLok is an educational application that generates AI-powered quizzes to help users study. Users earn screen time rewards by completing quizzes. The App offers Individual subscription plans, with a Family plan coming soon.
You must create an account to use QuizLok. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
Age requirements: You must be at least 13 years old to create an Individual account. If you are between 13 and 18, you represent that your parent or guardian has permitted you to use the Service. Children under 13 must be set up through a Parent account managed by a parent or legal guardian.
When the account holder is a parent or guardian, they are responsible for all activity under their account, including any child profiles they create locally on their device, and confirm that they consent to our collection of their child's quiz activity data as described in the Privacy Policy.
Free Trial: New subscribers receive a 1-week free trial with access to up to 3 topics. The free trial is an Apple introductory offer: you set up a subscription up front, you are not charged during the trial, and the subscription automatically renews at the standard price when the trial ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. The free trial is available once per subscription group, so it does not apply to returning subscribers.
Subscriptions: After the trial, a paid subscription is required for unlimited topics and full access. Subscriptions are available as Individual Monthly or Individual Yearly plans.
Billing: All payments are processed through Apple's App Store. By subscribing, you agree to Apple's payment terms. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused time.
Price Changes: We may change subscription prices with notice. Existing subscribers will be notified before any price change takes effect on their next renewal.
Quiz questions are generated using third-party AI services, including Google's Gemini, DeepSeek, and OpenAI. The specific provider used for each request depends on the topic — recall-style topics are routed to one provider and reasoning-heavy topics to another, with OpenAI used for question deduplication. Per each provider's API terms, content sent on behalf of QuizLok is not used to train their models. See the Privacy Policy for details on what data is sent.
While we take steps to verify accuracy, AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors. QuizLok is an educational supplement and should not be relied upon as the sole source of information for any subject matter. We do not guarantee that quiz content is error-free, complete, or suitable for any specific educational purpose, test, or exam.
QuizLok may use Apple's Screen Time API to restrict access to selected apps on the device. This feature:

The App, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by QuizLok LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. AI-generated quiz content is provided for your personal educational use only.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, QuizLok LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of access to apps due to restriction features, or reliance on AI-generated content.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the App settings.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify users of material changes through the App.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
